Here is an outline of data collected by this website.
What personal information do I collect from people that visit my blog and why?
Name or username, email address, IP address and website URL. I also collect non identifiable data such as browser information in order for me to see my website statistics. I use your data to run my site efficiently and to personalise user experience.
How do I protect your information?
I never ask for credit card numbers or payment details. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of people who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
These cookies and the information they collect help improve this site for yourself and future visitors by monitoring traffic of users and success of particular content. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings.
Embedded content from other websites
Third Party Plug Ins
This site does not currently use Google Analytics to collect information such as details of traffic and visitor behaviour patterns. I do however occasionally check my stats on WordPress for this information instead. If at any point I do begin to use Google Analytics which would be stated here, you would be able to opt out by using the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add on. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Do I share data?
I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless required to do so by law.
How long do I retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on my website (if any) the personal information you provide is in your user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at all times except usernames.
This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated when appropriate – last updated on 17th June 2018.
